Arno Cost

Artist Bio

Arno Cost is one of those French artists who has blown a new fresh air to the electronic music scene.

By the end of the 2000s, he managed to impose his touch, influenced by the French Touch movement that rocked his adolescence, the Italian-disco sounds and progressive house, which he is one of the first pillars. Throughout his career and today even more than yesterday, Arno has magnified his style while retaining the essence of his influences.
Arno Cost (Vadim Constantin, his real name) begins music at age of 15 by hacking computers and software in his bedroom. Thanks to his highly motivation and hard work he signed his first EP in 2005. He then stops his studies and devotes himself fully to the production. Back in 2007, Arno came out of anonymity with the "Magenta" tube. Played by radio stations all around the world and acclaimed by some of the most successful electronic artists such as Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz and David Guetta, "Magenta" gives him real credibility with his peers.

The following year, Arno retrieves with the legendary "Apocalypse", co-produced with his always- friend Norman Doray. The reception is triumphal and "Apocalypse" is track listed by all the major DJs. Pete Tong calls it as his "Essential New Tune" and the success of “Apocalypse” finishes bringing Arno to the status of essential artist.

Quality always taking precedence over quantity, Arno carefully distils his tracks, with releases from the prestigious American labels Interscope and Atlantic, among the independent Size Records (Head Up, Nightventure, Strong), Refune (Lise) Spinnin ( Lifetime) or Universal (Cyan).

With this growing reputation, Arno has been touring in the United States, performing multiple times in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, Denver and many more. His shows also take him to Australia, China, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, Brazil, India and Russia, but also Ibiza, where he is invited by the Cream parties to Amnesia, or by David Guetta and the Swedish House Mafia at Pacha.

In total, Arno performs in more than 40 countries but does not leave the work in studio and finds time to collaborate with his friend Martin Solveig on the single track called "Touch Me" or with Moby which he produces a superb progressive remix and melancholy. In just a few years, Arno has been able to put its name in the history of French electronic music and has imposed a new approach to music, full of emotions and dancing.
